Facing cancer and other life threatening illness can be very difficult for sufferers and their families with many wishing to stay in their own homes but afraid of the extra pressures.

George Thomas Hospice Care provides specialist home based nursing and practical advice, emotional and spiritual support, medical equipment, therapies, treatments and day care activities and bereavement counselling.

We support up to 1000 patients and their families each year with our multi disciplinary team of specialist nurses, occupational therapists and social workers with all help provided totally free of charge.

We aim for patients and their families to have as much quality of life, independence, pain relief, knowledge of their treatment and advice and guidance as possible. back to top
